S.U. Carb Refurbishment
Our S.U. Carb Refurbishment process includes the following:
- A full strip down & inspection
- Ultrasonic cleaning of all parts
- Low pressure fine glass bead blasting of all cast parts
- Gasket surfaces refaced
- Bodies re bushed (where necessary)
- Dashpots highly polished (brass parts polished where applicable)
- All parts to be retained are checked and fully reconditioned
- Reassembly with all genuine SU parts, full SU CRK Rebuild Kits used
Professional S.U. Carb Refurbushment
In addition to the rebuild kit new needles, dashpot springs, idle screws & springs, float spindles, dashpot & float lid screws, float chamber adaptors, pivot bolts, banjo bolts etc. are fitted, this will depend on the exact carb type being built. At GW Carbs attention to the details during your S.U. Carb Refurbishment is essential.
Your SU Carbs can be built to standard factory specification or custom built to suit your chosen engine spec (rolling road tuning recommended).
Your SU Carbs are returned set to the standard SU start up setting and will require final set up once fitted.
A set up and tuning guide along with mounting gaskets is included after every SU Carb Refurbishment.
